We're Hiring!

We currently are seeking qualified individuals to fill six (6) full time operator positions
at various locations around the county.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
• High School diploma, GED, or equivalent education.
• Three years of experience in road construction/maintenance operations.
• Ability to communicate with public in courteous, tactful, and effective manner.
• Willing and available to work hours outside of normal schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• CDL class B minimum as required by state law.


PHYSICAL AND MENTAL DEMANDS
Ability to walk extended distances and climb stairs, ramps, and/or ladders to access Commission and other work-related areas and facilities. Ability to drive for long periods of time in adverse weather conditions. Ability to read instructions, directions, and similar information in letters, memoranda, forms, computer web-sites, and/or other documents. Ability to converse orally with standard and cellular telephones and radios to communicate information to employees and the public. Ability to lift, push, pull, and manipulate tools, equipment, supplies, and other objects weighing up to 100 pounds.
